About The Position

Assistant Program Director I Pay: $50,000-$55,000 Annually Are you a driven human services professional ready to step into a leadership role? YOU Inc. is seeking an Assistant Program Director I to support the management and clinical oversight of our Children’s Congregate Care program. In this role, you’ll help lead a dedicated team providing essential services to children, adolescents, and their families , ensuring high-quality care, strong staff engagement, and compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements

  • Strong leadership potential with the ability to support and motivate teams
  • Knowledge of behavioral health services for children and adolescents
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance clinical priorities with administrative responsibilities
  • Commitment to quality care, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred)
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in behavioral health or human services
  • Valid driver’s license (Class C or D)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily program operations to ensure high-quality, client-centered services.
  • Oversee intake, assessment, and treatment services for all clients.
  • Ensure delivery of short-term, long-term, and emergency services aligned with best practices.
  • Monitor and support the overall quality of clinical care.
  • Support hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of staff, interns, and volunteers.
  • Foster a positive, engaged team environment aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate staffing levels and program coverage.
  • Act as a liaison between the program and external agencies, community partners, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the Quality Management Team to strengthen internal and external collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and program data required by funding sources.
  • Assist in monitoring program budgets, census, and expenses.
  • Oversee the safety and maintenance of program facilities and resources.
