The Sophia Bremer Early Learning Academy at Olympic College is seeking a Program Specialist 2 (Front-desk). The Sophia Bremer Early Learning Academy provides quality, comprehensive early learning services for the Olympic College community. Reporting to the director, the Program Specialist 2 supports day-to-day program operations and provides general office and receptionist support. The program specialist operates as part of a direct services team and serves as the program liaison with extensive contacts with families, campus partners, and external parties. Other specific responsibilities of this position include monitoring and tracking budgetary expenses, supporting enrollment activities such as waitlists and contacting prospective families, managing inventory of supplies, coordinating repairs and services with external vendors, submitting work orders, and drafting training and communication materials for a wide variety of internal and external audiences. The program specialist also assists the director in identifying, developing, and articulating program policies and procedures, in addition to being responsible for assuring full compliance with all legal, accreditation, and other standards. The program specialist is expected to meet pre-service requirements upon hire, remain current in training and service requirements, and engage in early childhood education best practices to support children, families, and center staff and operations.
