About The Position

The Program Manager, Onsite provides coverage by identifying, implementing, and maintaining waste reduction, segregation, and reuse programs for a customer. The role manages and oversees the onsite labor workforce supporting customer contract requirements and works closely with the customer's Environmental Department. The position is responsible for safe site operations, waste and recycling program administration, inspections, shipment scheduling, documentation, supplier coordination, and reporting.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience balancing and delivering multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Sound communication, judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Ability to foster lasting relationships with clients and supplier partners, both in person and remotely.
Ability to solve problems and provide solutions with limited direction.
Ability to write business proposals.
Ability to develop sound knowledge and understanding of relevant federal, state, and local industry regulations.
Ability to remain alert and work safely.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree.
At least 1 year of experience in waste management, recycling, environmental work, or total waste management (TWM).
At least 3 years of experience supervising or leading a team or hourly labor workforce.

Responsibilities

Follow company policies and processes and act safely at all times, making health and safety the top priority.
Conduct daily site inspections.
Conduct weekly RCRA inspections.
Work with customers and vendors to implement improved waste management procedures.
Manage recycling programs.
Manage the 90-day accumulation building.
Schedule all waste shipments, including shipments of recycling materials.
Manage document tracking, including reports to the Environmental Department.
Manage supplier subcontractors working on behalf of Envita Solutions.
Meet with supplier partners to discuss disposal opportunities, negotiate pricing, and review current approvals.
Prepare monthly waste activity reports for clients as requested.
Perform additional assigned duties and continue developing in alignment with the Company's core values, competencies, and skills.
