The Program Manager is responsible for leading sustainability initiatives across multiple teams and business units, managing complex programs cross-functionally, aligning efforts with organizational goals, and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 4 – 6 years of product development experience.
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of program management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies (Problem Solving, Decision Matrix, Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience in product development framework from concept, through Business Proposal and Implementation.
  • Understanding of business operations and sustainability planning.
  • Manages moderately complex sustainability programs.
  • Resolves operational challenges and drives improvements.
  • Communicates program goals and progress effectively.
  • Mentors junior staff and contributes to team development.
  • Implements best practices and supports change management.
  • Influences team-level decisions and supports cross-functional alignment.
  • Strength in convening cross‑functional stakeholders to implement change within a matrixed organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Sustainability experience a plus.
  • Preferred experience in managing offshore resource for engineering and business intelligence application development.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead moderately complex sustainability programs focused on implementing product design and material changes.
  • Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery, following standardized product development processes and milestones.
  • Coordinate efforts across departments, operations, design, and suppliers.
  • Support cross-functional alignment and change management.
  • Manage product development systems and sustainability tools.
  • Implement best practices and process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translate sustainability goals into actionable plans.
  • Supports creation of carbon reduction roadmap.
  • Contribute to program documentation and dashboards.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional leadership collaboration (category, operations, supply management) to advance the project, remove barriers, escalate issues, and align on decisions.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Support team development and performance evaluations.
  • Lead departmental initiatives and support strategy execution.
