About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Program Manager in Middletown, Rhode Island. The role is responsible for successful program delivery to a customer, or for managing a task or project within a larger program under another program manager’s direction. The Program Manager manages and integrates activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensures technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. The role contributes to defining and executing the program baseline, manages risks, customer relationships, and staffing, and ensures compliance with quality standards. It also supports business development and program staff management. The position may manage a large program staff, including subcontractors or suppliers and task or project leads, and escalates challenges to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 15 or more years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 13 or more years of experience.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Must have program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage successful program delivery to a customer, or manage a task or project within a larger program under another program manager’s direction.
• Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance.
• Provide input and direction in planning, developing, and implementing the program baseline, and execute the program in compliance with baseline requirements.
• Identify key resources to manage and execute the program baseline.
• Manage program risks, customer relationships, and staffing.
• Identify and analyze moderate variances and define corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to leadership.
• Support business development and program staff management.
• Manage large program staff, including subcontractors or suppliers and task or project leads.
