About The Position
The Program Manager will join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s Multicloud E2E team and work with internal OCI teams and external Cloud Service Providers to deliver new data center sites, space and power expansions, and additional customer capacity. The role is the single-threaded leader accountable for completing execution tasks on time, including fit-out, circuit provisioning, and network and software bootstrap. The position requires anticipating and mitigating delivery risks and leading critical data center infrastructure builds with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy. The Program Manager will engage with stakeholders across design, engineering, operations, supply chain, external vendors, and network delivery. The role owns multiple data center infrastructure projects from end to end, overseeing all build phases to meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements. It also develops long-term strategies to reduce complexity and accelerate delivery, manages project risks, and communicates project status to internal and external stakeholders. Frequent executive communication is expected.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of multiple data center infrastructure projects concurrently.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and costs.
- Oversee all phases of each build, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Develop and implement long-term strategies to reduce complexity and increase delivery speed for data center infrastructure projects.
- Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, provide regular project status updates, address concerns, and communicate frequently with executives.
- Coordinate execution tasks including fit-out, circuit provisioning, and network and software bootstrap.
