Love bringing complex events to life? As a Program Manager, you’ll lead the planning and execution of life science meetings and events, from congress-based programs to standalone meetings involving Healthcare Professionals, patients, colleagues, and speaker travel. You’ll be the go-to partner for clients, suppliers, and internal teams—keeping budgets, logistics, compliance, attendee details, and timelines running smoothly. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy juggling multiple programs at once, this role will keep you energized.

Requirements

  • Previous hands-on, full cycle, event management in the life sciences / pharmaceutical meetings & events space
  • Ability to work virtually
  • Operating on Eastern Standard Time

Nice To Haves

  • At least 5 years of life science meetings management experience, especially with HCP programs
  • Experience supporting meetings connected to a Congress/Convention as well as standalone programs
  • A strong background in vendor management, sourcing, and contract negotiation
  • Previous experience with participant attendee management, travel planning, or destination knowledge
  • A college degree and Cvent Event Certification

Responsibilities

  • Managing life science meetings from kickoff to reconciliation, including budgets, attendee coordination, logistics, food and beverage, room setups, and technology needs
  • Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams while keeping communication clear, proactive, and professional
  • Navigating compliance requirements, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and following corporate guidelines and procedures
  • Using Cvent and Microsoft Office to manage attendee data, reporting, registration communications, and shared project materials accurately
  • Negotiating supplier contracts, coordinating vendors, and solving issues quickly to keep programs on track
