About The Position

Moove AV is seeking a Program Manager to oversee fleet health monitoring and reporting across safety, efficiency, and compliance, and to lead operational excellence programs for its Phoenix-market autonomous vehicle fleet. The role works closely with the Phoenix General Manager and central support functions to monitor performance and help ensure effective, efficient fleet operations. The Program Manager uses data and KPIs to guide operational adjustments and long-term technical solutions; leads quality business reviews; develops performance measures with the central FPA team; and establishes standard operating and change-management processes. The position identifies trends, develops pilots and experiments with operations teams, coordinates processes and escalation paths, and leads communications and change strategies for complex programs. It also supports program execution, operational strategy, process improvement, and ongoing performance reporting. Key performance measures include monthly P&L actuals versus targets, monthly operating KPIs such as supply hours and availability, fleet safety metrics, and the identification, design, tracking, and evaluation of operational improvements. The work involves AV operational systems and connected hardware, system troubleshooting and integrations, operational data analysis, and assessing capacity, bandwidth, cost, and return on investment for technology investments. Applicants must be authorized to work and reside in the United States. Moove may require pre-employment drug screening after a conditional offer and conducts criminal background checks after a conditional offer, with individualized assessment of prior convictions.

Requirements

  • Experience driving complex projects.
  • Change-management experience working with cross-functional teams.

  • Facility with spreadsheets and financial modeling.
  • Availability and willingness to work outside normal office hours.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts and present at all organizational levels.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and a track record of managing organizational systems.
  • Growth orientation and a proven track record of scaling products and new geographies.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a decentralized organization.
  • Authorization to work and reside in the United States.
  • Ability to query and analyze operational data using SQL, a BI tool, or an equivalent tool, and to define relevant operational KPIs.
  • Working knowledge of system design and architecture, including how hardware, software, networks, cloud services, and data pipelines connect and where they can fail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot deployed systems, including logs, configurations, connectivity, and integrations, before escalating to engineering.
  • Experience deploying or supporting connected hardware in live environments, such as cameras and video analytics, sensors and IoT devices, charging infrastructure, or robotics and automation.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and data flows between vendor platforms and internal tools.
  • Ability to evaluate capacity, bandwidth, and cost trade-offs and build an ROI case for technology investments.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong preference for experience with Kaizen frameworks and processes.
  • Strong preference for familiarity with and use of AI tools to run operations and solve problems rather than adding headcount.
  • Experience with AV operational systems, such as AV fleet management, depot operations, safety, or workforce management platforms, or comparable fleet and operations systems.
  • Experience in autonomous vehicles, EVs, fleet operations, mobility, or warehouse automation.
  • Experience with autonomous mobile robots, machine vision, automated inspection, or charging automation.
  • Experience with AI-enabled operational tools or workflow automation.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, or systems engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Host and lead regular quality business reviews, partnering with local and global teams to improve topline metrics.
  • Work with the central FPA team to determine a balanced scorecard for unit economics and local P&L performance.
  • Develop standard operating and change-management processes.
  • Identify data trends and collaborate with the operations team to develop pilots and experiments addressing improvement areas.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure appropriate processes and escalation paths are in place.
  • Lead change-management and communications strategies for complex business-driven programs, including assessing needs, developing and gaining agreement on plans, implementing them, and tracking effectiveness.
  • Work with partners on the evolution and execution of Moove AV programs.
  • Manage a changing set of high-impact priorities and projects.
  • Contribute to operations strategy and programs by defining scope and requirements, implementing processes, and improving ongoing operations.
  • Support ongoing performance reporting.
  • Track monthly P&L actuals versus targets, operating KPIs, fleet safety metrics, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot deployed systems, including logs, configurations, connectivity, and integrations, before escalating to engineering.
  • Analyze operational data and define KPIs such as uptime, throughput, intervention rate, and cost per task.
  • Assess capacity, bandwidth, and cost trade-offs and develop ROI cases for technology investments.
