About The Position

The Program Manager will lead IT programs in the insurance industry, bridging business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver work on time, within scope, and on budget. The role involves coordinating multiple interconnected IT projects and ensuring technology initiatives align with insurance workflows, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT project or program management experience.
• Hands-on experience working in the insurance sector, including Life, Property and Casualty, or Health insurance.
• Familiarity with core insurance systems and digital transformation projects.
• Proficiency in project management and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Asana.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including Agile and Waterfall.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• PMP, PgMP, or Agile/Scrum certifications are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of multiple interconnected IT projects, managing dependencies, critical paths, and resource allocation across teams.
• Drive technology initiatives tailored to insurance workflows, including underwriting, policy administration, claims processing, reinsurance, and actuarial data feeds.
• Ensure IT rollouts comply with regional insurance regulatory frameworks, data privacy laws, and security standards.
• Partner with C-level executives, business leads, and external third-party software or SaaS vendors.
• Manage program-level financials, forecasting, and cost tracking.
• Identify project roadblocks, track risks, and deploy contingency plans.
