Program Manager
About The Position
The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Program Manager for its DMHAS program in West Springfield, Massachusetts. The Program Manager provides clinical, residential, and outreach management, training, and supervision to staff who support clients in need of psychiatric services. The role oversees residential program operations, staffing, administrative processes, policy implementation, and compliance with licensing and accrediting organizations. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant human services or mental health field, relevant residential treatment experience, supervisory or management experience, and a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in mental health treatment and/or a human services-related field, with a focus on 24-hour residential treatment.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, counseling, or a related field, with an emphasis on mental health treatment.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in a mental health field.
Responsibilities
- Implement program policies and procedures and oversee residential responsibilities.
- Monitor home operations, including compliance with licensing and accrediting organizations and implementation of program treatment.
- Supervise direct support professionals.
- Support staff with training on person-centered plans.
- Oversee program administrative processes.
- Hire, train, and manage the home.
