GDIT is seeking a Program Manager for a federal client in the Washington D.C. area. The Program Manager must possess AI and cloud expertise and serve as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). This role will ensure all day-to-day activities are carried out in a timely and reliable fashion and act as a representative of the contractor with management authority for all staff provided under the TO. The Program Manager will have the ultimate authority to commit the contractor’s organization and make decisions for the contractor’s organization in response to agencies issues, concerns, or problems. The Program Manager will act as the central point of contact for the completion and quality of deliverables. The Program Manager will have a mastery of knowledge and skill working as an integrator for a multi-cloud environment or multi-cloud solutions to meet business requirements; ability to provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences on critical issues; use creative thinking to apply new strategies and developments to previously-unsolvable problems; and make decisions or recommendations that significantly influence important agency policies and programs. Experience with big data operational execution and delivery. Experience with system development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Lean, DevOps, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), Spiral, and Rapid Application Development (RAD). Expertise in big data principles by selecting and using the most efficient data processing hardware, software, and analytical approach.
