About The Position

This position will supervise the Faith in Action initiatives within the Benedictine community. The Faith in Action - Program Manager will participate in program planning for community-based services with an emphasis in grant writing, reporting, and compliance. Additional responsibilities may include marketing Faith in Action, volunteer coordination, client and associate coordination, and coordination with other local health, mental health, and allied health partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or other healthcare-related field
  • Experience in home & community-based services
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Acceptable driving record that meets Benedictine requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a management or supervisory position in a non-profit healthcare/long-term environment
  • Previous experience in caregiver support, support planning, and outreach services
  • Experience in grant writing

Responsibilities

  • Manages the Faith in Action programs, including volunteer services for senior citizens, transportation, meal services, and caregiver support.
  • Partners with Marketing & Sales in promoting Faith in Action, its services through various activities, events, and effective use of all varieties of media.
  • Manages policies and programs to ensure compliance with the grant, applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborates with the Executive Director on the grant budgeting process. Manages within the finalized defined budget and maintains accurate records and reports of expenditures to reflect the grant allocations.
  • Identifies new grants to support the Benedictine community’s programming costs and to achieve fund development goals for the Faith in Action program. Assists with grant writing as needed.
  • Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of a self-directed action plan with the client and/or family. Provides ongoing education, builds self-advocacy skills, and provides support.
  • Promote the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
  • Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
