About The Position

PALS Downey is an adult day program serving individuals with intellectual and behavioral disabilities. The Program Manager oversees daily program operations, leads and supports staff, and helps ensure high-quality services for adults with disabilities. Based out of the Downey office, the role provides leadership within community-based programs and reports directly to the Program Director. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 3 years of experience in developmental disabilities, mental health, human services, behavioral health, or a related field.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Knowledge of ABA, behavioral psychology, behavior support strategies, or related practices.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and support direct service staff working in community settings.
Oversee daily program operations and ensure compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate participant records, documentation, and reports.
Provide leadership, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
Partner with the Program Director to ensure quality service delivery and program success.
Support person-centered services and behavior intervention strategies.
Monitor program performance and implement improvements as needed.
