About The Position

This role is responsible for the overall management of all aspects of the Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) program for an assigned client. The Program Manager will manage the subvendor/supplier program, its population, and day-to-day operations, including requisition/submittal processes, job placement, subvendor selection, contract negotiations, troubleshooting, relationship management, and benchmarking. The role also focuses on maximizing customer satisfaction, managing client and contractor expectations, and resolving issues. Financial responsibilities include meeting growth and profitability targets, implementing and administering software, and reporting on performance. The role also involves setting performance expectations and managing department staff priorities and results. This position is generally required for medium MSP programs or divisions within larger MSP programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience in managing a vendor on-site program, general management, or account management role in a general staffing company.
  • Three years supervisory experience.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with vendors/candidates at all levels.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Client & Program Management: Establish and develop manager relationships within the assigned program, expand existing relationships to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and profitability. Fulfill client service through frequent interaction with client managers to ensure satisfaction and identify potential business development opportunities. Understand contracted terms and conditions, pricing, and client rules of engagement.
  • Supplier Management: Implement and manage the sub-vendor/supplier program, ensuring optimum customer satisfaction. Ensure proper selection and negotiation in the sub-vendor and supplier contracting process for maximum profitability and quality. Plan, organize, and conduct quarterly performance reviews of sub-vendors to monitor performance against service level agreements and conduct periodic benchmarking.
  • Manage Requisition Fulfillment Process: Manage day-to-day operations, including implementation and management of the requisition process, prioritization of orders, with an emphasis on responsiveness and customer service. Act as the liaison between the client and suppliers to manage order fulfillment. Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with the client to foster the relationship, present program performance, and understand client needs. Manage to and meet/exceed client SLAs, KPIs, and program deliverables. Work with the MSP management team and client on developing and implementing strategic plans. Ensure remarkets and contract extensions by maintaining awareness of client project progress.
  • Staff Management: Responsible for selection, hiring, training, performance evaluation, recruitment, and retention of staff personnel. Accountable for setting and managing performance expectations, training, motivating, and encouraging professional growth.
  • Issue Resolution: Ensure resolution to day-to-day issues within the respective program. Follow internal escalation plans as necessary. Meet and manage expectations from client, supplier, and internal resources.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by manager: Assist appropriate individuals, including Operations and the Accounting Department, to ensure timely collection of receivables.
