About The Position

Mission Prep Healthcare is expanding and launching a new residential treatment program in Minnesota. They are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized Program Manager to join their founding leadership team. This role is a unique opportunity for a strong people leader to play a critical role in establishing program operations, building a high-performing team, and creating an exceptional treatment experience for the adolescents and families served. The Program Manager will help shape the culture, systems, and day-to-day operations of a brand-new residential program while supporting the mission of delivering life-changing behavioral healthcare. The ideal candidate is passionate about leadership, operational excellence, staff development, and making a lasting impact in behavioral health.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field preferred.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of management experience in a direct care, behavioral health, or human services setting.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Current TB clearance (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to pass all required background screenings.

Nice To Haves

  • Residential treatment, behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment experience.
  • Experience managing staff schedules and workforce planning.
  • Knowledge of licensing, compliance, safety, and quality assurance processes.
  • Strong crisis management, de-escalation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, and developing direct care staff.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operational leader for residential programming and direct care staff, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care delivery while maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and support residential program staff across 24/7 operations.
  • Manage staffing schedules, coverage, payroll approvals, and timekeeping functions.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new team members.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and client-centered care.
  • Ensure program adherence to policies, procedures, safety standards, and licensing requirements.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections, safety rounds, and infection control monitoring.
  • Support crisis intervention, de-escalation efforts, and staff coaching during critical incidents.
  • Coordinate logistics, transportation, appointments, and operational needs for clients.
  • Partner with clinical leadership, compliance teams, and other departments to support quality outcomes.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and organizational initiatives that drive continuous improvement.
