About The Position

Lead a team of about 47 responsible for running and modernizing the test infrastructure behind the Defense Health Agency's major health IT programs. This position supports a new Defense Health Agency program and is contingent upon contract award; the start date will align with the program start.

The role is based on site at the test center in Chantilly, Virginia, with work at the Ashburn, Virginia data center as needed. The annual pay range for Chantilly is $175,000 to $194,000.

Requirements

• 10 years managing IT infrastructure or platform programs, including 5 years for DoD or federal health.
• PMP, or 10 years of program management experience with a graduate degree in engineering or management.
• Experience on a firm-fixed-price or performance-based contract.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the background investigation designated by the Defense Health Agency for this position.

Nice To Haves

• An active Secret clearance or higher.
• Experience with VMware, cloud, or DevSecOps programs.
• Health IT or test-lab program experience.

Responsibilities

• Own cost, schedule, and performance on a fixed-price, performance-based contract, and report to the Contracting Officer's Representative.
• Run the monthly outcome ledger, governance boards, and risk register, and keep every deliverable on time.
• Lead transition-in so the team is badged, on site, and operating within 60 days of award.
• Lead a team spanning infrastructure, platform engineering, cybersecurity, and facilities across Zaden and two teaming partners.
• Keep the government's test calendars whole while the environment is consolidated and modernized.
