About The Position

The UCF Center for Community Schools in the College of Community Innovation and Education at the University of Central Florida is a practice-based organization that provides community school technical assistance, university-assisted partnerships, training and development, and assessment and evaluation. The Program Manager, Training Academy and Technical Assistance, provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Center’s Training Academy, a cross-cutting system supporting all initiatives, and for the Unlimited Potential Initiative program statewide technical assistance systems. This role leads system-level design and continuous improvement efforts, coordinating across Center “houses” while directly supervising staff responsible for Training Academy and UPI technical assistance implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
  • Position requires a valid Class E driver’s license.
  • This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of experience managing complex projects, or initiatives in education, nonprofit, or related settings.
  • Experience overseeing, designing, and implementing the development and management of learning management systems (LMS), digital learning modules, and professional learning experiences.
  • Experience supervising professional staff and supporting team development and performance management.
  • Experience working with federally funded grants and collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve program goals.
  • Master's degree in education, public administration, organizational leadership, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Training Academy and micro-credentialing infrastructure, including system architecture, scalability, and integration with statewide technical assistance systems.
  • Translate Center priorities into a high-quality, statewide professional learning system through the development and application of prioritization frameworks and quality standards.
  • Partner with Center leadership to refine and align statewide technical assistance and professional learning approaches across initiatives.
  • Contribute to strategic planning efforts to ensure coherence, scalability, and alignment with statewide priorities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to advance strategic priorities and statewide impact.
  • Lead implementation of UPI’s statewide technical assistance systems, including scalable frameworks (e.g., train-the-trainer, coaching, tiered supports).
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment of technical assistance delivery across university and district partners.
  • Lead implementation of statewide training and technical assistance systems.
  • Oversee Training Academy implementation, micro-credentialing, and related program infrastructure.
  • Provide direct supervision to Program Manager I’s, a Program Coordinator, and interns supporting UPI Technical Assistance and the Training Academy.
  • Lead coaching, professional development, and performance management to ensure effective execution of workstreams.
  • Supervise staff and oversee implementation of key initiatives.
  • Lead oversight of continuous improvement systems for the Training Academy and UPI technical assistance efforts.
  • Synthesize readiness findings, implementation data, and partner feedback to inform strategic decision-making and guide targeted improvements.
  • Use data, feedback, and continuous improvement practices to strengthen program effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-informed decision-making.
  • Provide guidance on UPI grant-related compliance for training and technical assistance activities in partnership with the Assistant Director of UPI.
  • Support monitoring of federal requirements, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Support grant implementation, compliance, and program sustainability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
