About The Position

The Program Manager Senior RQH will provide functional and specialized support, strategic direction, and oversight of the operations and business functions in support of AFRL enterprise, in particular the Aerospace Systems Directorate (RQH) for the advancement of a variety of aerospace technologies.

Requirements

Master of Arts or Master of Science degree AND Minimum twelve (12) years’ related work experience AND Minimum five (5) years’ experience with the DoD
OR Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree AND Minimum fifteen (15) years’ related work experience AND Minimum five (5) years’ experience with the DoD
OR Minimum twenty (20) years related work experience AND Minimum eight (8) years’ experience with the DoD
Experience in performing lifecycle tasks associated with contract acquisition, management, and closeout.
Knowledge in providing analysis and project management support.
Knowledge in program management philosophy, policies, and procedures to perform a wide range of acquisition management activities.
Experience in forecasting and making recommendations of funding changes, interim status, and overall results.

Responsibilities

Apply full range of program management philosophies, policies, and procedures to perform a wide range of acquisition management activities in support of existing and future programs.
Support Government leads with program management lifecycle requirements, subsystems, and equipment.
Support strategic scheduling and planning efforts and utilize a variety of systems to track, manage, and report efforts.
Provide technical support, coordination, and planning for integrated program reviews and conferences.
Assist in planning, organizing, and managing critical aspects of the development, production, and/or deployment of capabilities, systems, subsystems, and equipment.
Assist with development of policies and procedures for enterprise or organization-based instructions and guidance
Independent review and assessment of R&D contract cost, schedule, and performance
Identify risks and risk mitigation plans.
Develop and implement Capability-Based Planning processes for Air Force Material Command.
