EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 79,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Program Manager of Parenting & Visitation Services to join Safe Families Parenting & Visitation Initiatives Program.

Salary: $75,000-$85,000/year
Schedule: Monday- Friday: 9AM-5PM
Location: 175 Remsen Street, 11th Floor in Brooklyn, NY

What drives the core purpose of this job: The Program Manager, Parenting & Visitation Services is responsible for the daily management and operation of the Safe Families Parenting & Visitation Initiative. The Program Manager provides supervision and leadership to program staff and ensures that services are delivered in accordance with agency policies, contractual requirements, and best practices. The Program Manager is responsible for maintaining program quality, achieving performance outcomes, monitoring documentation, and supporting positive outcomes for children and families participating in supervised visitation, parenting education, and family support services. Office-based with community engagement and occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Education, or a related field required.
• Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in family services, child welfare, social services, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic data management systems.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with court-involved families, supervised visitation programs, parenting services, or child welfare systems preferred.
• Knowledge of family services, parenting programs, supervised visitation practices, and child welfare systems.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, participants, funders, courts, referral sources, and community partners.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Parenting & Visitation Services Program.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate assigned program staff.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and individual supervision sessions.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage for program operations.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Oversee supervised visitation services and parenting education activities.
• Monitor participant engagement, service delivery, and program outcomes.
• Review case records, visitation reports, service plans, and other required documentation for quality and compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and agency standards.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with courts, attorneys, ACS, community-based organizations, and referral sources.
• Participate in case conferences, stakeholder meetings, and community outreach activities as required.
• Ensure timely and accurate collection of program data and required reports.
• Monitor progress toward program goals and contractual performance measures.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation required by funders and EAC leadership.
• Review and approve employee timesheets, schedules, and leave requests.
• Assist with budget management and program expenditures.
• Ensure program facilities are maintained in a safe, welcoming, and professional manner.
• Coordinate with security personnel and security vendors to ensure adequate coverage, adherence to safety protocols, and a secure environment for children, families, staff, and visitors.
• Monitor safety concerns and respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and disruptive situations.
• Respond to client concerns, incidents, safety issues, and emergencies as needed.
• Participate in agency meetings, trainings, and quality improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
