About The Position

ND Defense is growing and is seeking a Program Manager with government contract experience to manage a variety of programs including tactical wheeled vehicles, maritime, aerospace, electronics, drones, commercial vehicles, and more. This role is for individuals who are motivated by challenges and continuously seek to improve processes, tools, and work organization.

Requirements

Strong program management skills with demonstrated success leading complex programs of full cross-functional teams to meet or exceed program objectives.
5–7 years of progressive program management experience in automotive, manufacturing, or a related industry.
Minimum 2 years of defense program management experience, including DoD acquisition lifecycle, DFARS requirements, and government contract types.
Experience with Scheduling: IMS, Critical Path, DCMA 14 point analysis.
Experience with EVMS, Financial Budget Management.
Experience with SDRL/CDRL deliverables.
Experience with Risk management and mitigation.
Experience with Scope management.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field required.
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (22 CFR § 120.15).

Nice To Haves

PMP certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Own the full program lifecycle, including planning, execution, stakeholder management, and performance reporting, across multiple concurrent defense and commercial programs.
Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
Manage Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) across engineering, supply chain, operations, and quality.
Serve as the primary interface with customers.
Drive IPTs to achieve program objectives and overcome complex challenges.
Manage programs valued at $5M+ across multiple concurrent initiatives.
