About The Position

Why this role exists We hire the people who are best at generative media, and they are rarely already living in the country we need them in. Today that means visa timelines, relocations, work authorization and cross-border employment questions land wherever there’s a spare pair of hands — a recruiter, an ops lead, outside counsel who bills by the hour and doesn’t know our roadmap. We want one person to own all of it. Not a coordinator sitting on top of a law firm — someone who knows the law well enough to make the call, and cares enough about the experience that a first-time visa holder never feels like a ticket in a queue.

Requirements

Licensed to practice in the U.S., in-house.
Expertise in running US and Canadian employment-based cases (H-1B, TN, L-1, O-1, PERM, adjustment).
Experience writing arguments for immigration cases and responding to RFEs.
Experience managing immigration matters in NAMER, EMEA, and APAC through local counsel.
Willingness to be the sole owner of the global mobility and immigration function and build it out.
Proficiency in automating processes using AI and tooling, with an aversion to manual tracking.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide warmth and discretion under pressure.
Ability to write policy and proactively address needs.

Responsibilities

Own every case, start to finish: Sponsorship, renewals, permanent residence, work authorization, transfers, relocations — Americas, EMEA, APAC.
Serve as the first point of contact for employees, managers, and counsel regarding immigration matters.
Manage US and Canadian employment-based cases, including H-1B, TN, L-1, O-1, PERM, and adjustment of status.
Write arguments for cases and respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs).
Work with NAMER, EMEA, and APAC through local counsel, identifying potential issues early.
Develop and document mobility and immigration policy, assignment structures, cost projections, and compliance frameworks.
Manage immigration counsel, relocation, and mobility providers, setting service expectations and holding them accountable.
Automate case intake, status tracking, document collection, and deadline management, working with internal engineering teams.
Analyze data related to cost per case, time to authorization, risk concentration, and country-specific immigration trends.
Provide support and discretion to individuals experiencing immigration-related challenges, such as denials, delays, or work permit issues.
