About The Position

Sentara is seeking a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Food Pharmacy/Pantry. The role serves as the program’s operational lead, coordinating volunteers, managing daily workflows, supporting patient engagement, and contributing to the initiative’s success and sustainability. The pantry is primarily volunteer-supported, and the Project Manager works with operational and community partners, with support from the Director of Operations, to implement and sustain the program.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as social work, public health, or nonprofit management, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in outreach programs, food pantry management, or social services.
Availability to work 8- and 10-hour days.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and train volunteers and support volunteer scheduling.
Conduct patient and consumer intake interviews.
Manage inventory.
Track data and prepare reports.
Coordinate appointments.
Maintain operational processes and manage daily workflows.
Support patient engagement activities.
Work with operational and community partners to implement and sustain the initiative.
