About The Position

Plug and Play Tech Center is seeking a Program Manager who is a strategic and operational powerhouse with proven experience in business development, contract negotiation, and cross-functional leadership. This role requires exceptional organization and the ability to manage multiple complex projects, including event execution and financial oversight. The Program/Community Manager will oversee the 3-6 month acceleration program lifecycle, focusing on tenant business development to drive growth, securing the sales pipeline through negotiations, and providing stakeholder leadership. Additionally, this role involves leading event management for signature sessions and executing community engagement and marketing through brand building and content creation.

Requirements

  • Management or related field experience.
  • Project management / process improvement experience.
  • In-person and Virtual event organization and management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the 3-6 month acceleration program lifecycle.
  • Drive tenant business development to foster growth.
  • Secure the sales pipeline through negotiations.
  • Provide stakeholder leadership.
  • Lead event management for signature sessions.
  • Execute community engagement and marketing through brand building and content creation.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations.
  • Support adoption, renewals, and new revenue opportunities.
  • Host events and track corporate participation.
  • Design new ways to increase corporate engagement.
  • Own relationships with startups in the accelerator program.
  • Hold intake and exit interviews for startups.
  • Ensure startups are on track to meet program goals.
  • Grow the ecosystem of mentors and VCs.
  • Set up sessions for startups to meet with Mentors, VCs, and corporate partners.
  • Collect feedback and develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Wrap up the program with a batch analysis report and individual startup report cards.
  • Lead design and execution of signature events (innovation days, pitch sessions, etc.).
  • Manage event finances, including budgeting, tracking, and POs.
  • Build a network of vendors to enhance attendee experience.
  • Book venues, brainstorm content, and outreach speakers for events.
  • Prepare event materials such as name tags, demo table signs, registration, and printouts.
  • Meet regularly with stakeholders to ensure easy communication and project manage tasks for the team.
  • Create and host events in person and virtually.
  • Share upcoming events with the network.
  • Develop newsletters, social media content, and reports, ensuring brand compliance.
  • Identify target companies by understanding the startup ecosystem and real estate environment.
  • Manage the growth pipeline for maximum occupancy and price.
  • Build relationships with entrepreneurs and decision-makers to secure the sales pipeline.
  • Explain, negotiate, and prepare lease contracts.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain digital records for leases.
  • Ensure smooth traffic of startups in the property.
  • Produce and maintain internal and external sales and marketing materials.
