About The Position

Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries is seeking a dynamic, organized, and mission-driven Community Impact Program Manager to help lead and strengthen programs that improve lives through workforce development, education, and community engagement. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on managing projects, analyzing data, building partnerships, and driving continuous improvement. As a key member of the Community Impact team, you will work closely with the Vice President of Community Impact & Workforce Development to support program operations, monitor outcomes, ensure compliance, and advance initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for individuals and families throughout our communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Human Services, Social Work, Community Development, Workforce Development, or a related field
  • Three to five years of experience in program management, project management, nonprofit operations, workforce development, human services, or a related field
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to pass required background checks

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience with CARF accreditation standards
  • Experience with grant management and reporting
  • Experience in workforce development, community development, or human services programs
  • Experience using data management and reporting systems

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor community impact and workforce development programs to ensure goals and outcomes are achieved
  • Develop and maintain program work plans, implementation schedules, and performance tracking systems
  • Collect, analyze, and report program data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Prepare reports for leadership, funders, community partners, and accreditation reviews
  • Support CARF accreditation activities, quality assurance efforts, and compliance monitoring
  • Assist with grant administration, reporting requirements, and performance measurement
  • Coordinate meetings, community partnerships, stakeholder engagement activities, and special initiatives
  • Conduct research on workforce development trends, community needs, and emerging opportunities
  • Support strategic planning, program evaluation, and departmental goal-setting activities
  • Collaborate across departments to advance Goodwill's mission and community impact
