About The Position

Oversees the implementation and maintenance of functional business programs. Identifies, prioritizes, and successfully executes a broad portfolio of functional initiatives and programs. Plans and directs schedules for multiple programs running simultaneously. Partners closely with global cross-functional teams to understand and capture requirements for programs. Navigates complex dependencies between cross-functional teams and organizational priorities to optimize the critical path and addresses & mitigates risks. Effectively influences internal and external teams to prioritize; Drives mitigation plans and ensures ownership for each item and regular follow up through to program closure while ensuring resolution of risk and issues, escalating, as necessary. Provides rigorous management and analysis of overall portfolio budget (including spend and forecasted spend vs. budget, spend per program and historical trends, etc.). Establishes scalable frameworks (process, tools, etc.) for the end-to-end project and manages stakeholders applying project management standards and documentation best practices. Runs standups and sprint planning exercises for programs owned. Builds and maintains consistent reporting across numerous programs. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel. Performs other duties as assigned. Horizon is an internal platform that combines a central data lake with analytics capabilities. It brings together data from many datasets and partner services and supports business-critical dashboards for product adoption, executive reporting, and operational metrics. You will join a team of engineers and technical leaders solving complex challenges in cloud infrastructure, data integration, and analytics at scale. The team works across platform development, internal customer integration, security, testing, operational readiness, and launch to deliver reliable capabilities that meet customer needs and production requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage large-scale, high-impact technical programs for Horizon within OCI.
Own an integrated roadmap and single plan of record, aligning objectives, scope, milestones, assumptions, dependencies, and commitments across engineering, product, internal customers, and partner teams.
Develop program work breakdown structures, work-backwards schedules, and critical paths for limited availability (LA), general availability (GA), ORM, and customer commitments.
Partner with internal customers to understand onboarding needs, data and service integration requirements, capability gaps, timelines, and launch risks. Ensure their commitments are reflected in the roadmap and readiness plan.
Coordinate dependencies with data providers, shared-service teams, and other partners, including security, architecture, compliance, certificate services, storage, SRE, and observability. Clarify requirements, secure owners and delivery dates, and follow commitments through completion.
Maintain visibility into program risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and actions. Assign owners and mitigation plans, and drive recovery when milestones or customer commitments are at risk.
Assess and communicate the impact of material changes to scope, dates, requirements, or dependencies; align stakeholders on revised plans and commitments.
Lead operational readiness and launch preparation, coordinating required reviews, testing, artifacts, actions, and approvals across technical and operational teams.
Establish clear accountability through a program RACI, working sessions, communication cadence, and executive reviews.
Use program dashboards and delivery metrics to monitor progress, identify blockers early, and improve execution.
Provide senior leadership with concise updates on delivery status, customer impact, risks, recovery actions, and decisions needed.
Identify opportunities to improve planning, reporting, and cross-team processes through consistent practices and automation.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
