About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Program Management Support Specialist to support key Submarine programs in their Norfolk, VA office. This role involves providing program, technical, and logistics support within a company that has over 100 years of excellence and commitment to ethical business, serving United States government agencies, allied governments, and corporations worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of related experience in finance, including government contracting experience for multiple type contracts (FFP, CPFF, T&M).
  • Requires understanding of all accounting and financial transactions to include cost review, reconciliations of accounts, and adjustments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work and multi-task.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to start and stop tasks, as needed.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Active DoD Security Clearance.
  • Team player with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Multi-tasker with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Deltek, CostPoint and Share Point desired.
  • Local resident preferred.
  • Previous Program Analyst experience supporting the Navy.

Responsibilities

  • Providing program, technical, and logistics support by managing communications, developing and reviewing reports, organizing meetings, and assisting with assessments
  • Assisting in the management of master files/schedules related to the program
  • Assisting in the maintenance of reports, spreadsheets, and databases to support program objectives
  • Assisting with workflow management to complete tasks
  • Supports all division program reviews
  • Creates, maintains, and updates financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required
