About The Position

Provide support to all phases of the program management life cycle for a DoD client program office, including assisting in monitoring task execution, working with the team in identifying and mitigating program risks, managing requests for data, assigning to appropriate program office personnel, consolidating, and providing final QA. Support the program office awards recognition program. Assist the program office front office team in facility management of a secure space. Assist the team with researching acquisition policy, interacting with various functional teams in an IPT environment, and supporting acquisition documentation and presentations in support of program decisions and milestone reviews. Facilitate coordination with functional SMEs on program documentation to achieve program requirements. Support the facilitation of meetings and briefings on behalf of the client and organize and execute client meetings as needed. Support the clients with day-to-day tasking, including meeting setup, meeting operation, and meeting minutes. Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in program management and acquisition support.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with program or project management
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 programs, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to operate in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail, be flexible and proactive, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in DoW, Navy, NAVWAR, or PEO C4I organizations
  • Experience with the military
  • Knowledge of DoD or SECNAV 5000 instructions
  • Knowledge of cost, schedule, and performance management of programs under the Defense Acquisition System
  • Ability to be a self-starter, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
