Program Management Intern

Docusign•Seattle, WA

About The Position

The Technical Program Management Intern - B21 will help drive one or more high-impact B21 technology programs or workstreams, working closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders. The intern will support scoping, definition of done, delivery planning, dependency mapping, stakeholder management, risk and issue management, and clear status reporting for initiatives that contribute to the B21 roadmap and business outcomes. Since a full program or workstream may extend beyond the 12-week internship, the intern will own well-defined slices of these efforts, with scope adjusted to ensure a meaningful, achievable outcome. This is a three-month internship and an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Technical Program Manager - B21. The position is hybrid, with at least two days per week in the Seattle hub.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a relevant field, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May/June 2028.
  • Experience engaging with cross-functional partners, including product, engineering, and other teams.
  • Ability to work from Docusign's Seattle hub in a hybrid arrangement, consistent with the internship residency and on-site work policy.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize technical topics for non-technical audiences.
  • Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework or project experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and common practices, such as Agile/Scrum and release planning.
  • Experience using collaboration or tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar tools for projects or team work.
  • Prior internship, research, or project experience managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, or tracking risks and issues.
  • Interest in B21 (Business-to-Individual) products and customer experiences, and curiosity about how technical programs drive impact for end users.
  • Strong interest in technical program management, product development, or engineering program delivery.
  • Ability to break down complex problems, organize work, and follow through on tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning for one or more B21 technology programs or workstreams, including scope definition, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Build and maintain dependency maps and risk and issue logs for assigned workstreams.
  • Own regular status reporting, distilling progress and risks into clear, concise updates for leadership and partners.
  • Coordinate with product, engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities, timelines, and trade-offs.
  • Help organize and facilitate planning sessions, syncs, reviews, and other key touchpoints, and capture decisions and action items.
  • Maintain program documentation and dashboards so the team has an accurate, up-to-date view of progress.
  • Partner with the mentor and B21 TPM team to improve program management practices and develop technical program management skills.
