Program Management Intern

Docusign•Seattle, WA

About The Position

The Technical Program Management Intern - B21 will help drive one or more high-impact B21 technology programs or workstreams in collaboration with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders. The intern will support scoping, definition of done, delivery planning, dependency mapping, stakeholder management, risk and issue management, and status reporting for initiatives contributing to the B21 roadmap and business outcomes. Because a full program or workstream may extend beyond the 12-week internship, the intern will own well-defined slices of the work, with scope flexibility to ensure a meaningful and achievable outcome. This is a three-month, individual-contributor internship reporting to the Director, Technical Program Manager - B21. The role is hybrid and requires access to Docusign's Seattle hub, with a weekly in-office expectation of at least two days per week; frequency may vary by team. The position does not provide visa sponsorship or immigration support, and applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without current or future sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a relevant field, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May/June 2028.
  • Experience engaging with cross-functional partners, including product, engineering, and other teams.
  • Ability to work from Docusign's Seattle hub in a hybrid arrangement in accordance with the internship residency and on-site work policy.
  • Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework or project experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Prior internship, research, or project experience managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, or tracking risks and issues.
  • Interest in B21 (Business-to-Individual) products and customer experiences, and curiosity about how technical programs affect end users.
  • Strong interest in technical program management, product development, or engineering program delivery.
  • Ability to break down complex problems, organize work, and follow through on tasks with attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize technical topics for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning for one or more B21 technology programs or workstreams, including scope definition, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Build and maintain dependency maps and risk and issue logs for assigned workstreams.
  • Own regular status reporting, summarizing complex progress and risks in clear, concise updates for leadership and partners.
  • Coordinate with product, engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, timelines, and trade-offs.
  • Help organize and facilitate planning sessions, syncs, reviews, and other key touchpoints; capture decisions and action items.
  • Maintain program documentation and dashboards to provide an accurate, up-to-date view of progress.
  • Partner with the mentor and B21 TPM team to improve program management practices and develop technical program management skills.
