About The Position

The Program Lead, Facilities Standards will shape facilities management across Starbucks stores by driving standards, maintenance strategies, asset performance programs, and operational improvements for equipment, building systems, and facility services. The role partners across Facilities, Store Development, Operations, and suppliers to develop scalable solutions that improve reliability, partner experience, store performance, and long-term asset value.

The position leads enterprise standards, lifecycle strategies, and maintenance programs; evaluates performance, reliability, utilization, and cost trends; and identifies ways to improve asset performance and reduce total cost of ownership. It also supports evaluation of new technologies, services, and operating models, leads continuous-improvement and strategic programs, and provides subject-matter expertise in facilities standards, service strategies, asset management, and maintenance optimization.

The Program Lead communicates insights and recommendations to organizational leaders, develops guidance and implementation strategies for consistent execution, and mentors and coaches team members. The role is onsite four days a week and may require travel up to 10%.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED, U.S. military service, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, asset management, operations, engineering, maintenance programs, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience developing and implementing enterprise programs, standards, or operational strategies.
• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis and business analytics, including evaluating complex data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex business and operational challenges with limited direction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Experience with facilities systems, maintenance programs, supplier management, or asset lifecycle planning.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated experience applying AI tools and agents to program management work, such as automating reporting, accelerating data analysis, drafting documentation, or streamlining cross-functional coordination, and sharing practices to scale team capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead enterprise standards, lifecycle strategies, and maintenance programs across equipment, building systems, hard services, and soft services.
• Analyze performance, reliability, utilization, and cost trends to identify opportunities to improve asset performance and reduce total cost of ownership.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate technologies, services, and operating models that improve the store environment and partner experience.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives and strategic programs that drive operational efficiency, risk reduction, sustainability, and cost savings across the retail portfolio.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and advisor on facilities standards, service strategies, asset management, and maintenance optimization.
• Communicate insights, recommendations, and program outcomes to leaders and influence decisions through data-driven storytelling.
• Develop guidance, documentation, and implementation strategies for consistent execution across facilities teams, suppliers, and business partners.
• Mentor and coach team members and help build organizational capability in facilities programs, standards, and asset management.
