About The Position

The Program Director (QIDP – Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional) oversees the day-to-day operations of community-based programs and Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). The role involves leadership and hands-on oversight to ensure high-quality, person-centered services. Regular travel to ICF locations is required, with mileage reimbursement provided. Training will be provided to develop the knowledge and skills needed for the QIDP role. The position participates in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least two years of IDD experience.
• Valid driver’s license, current car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Reliable, responsible, and compassionate approach.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of HCS programs is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day program operations, including direct supports, person-centered planning, healthcare coordination, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, safety, and maintenance of the physical environment.
• Oversee financial management, staffing, recruiting, retention, and training initiatives.
• Supervise program staff, including scheduling, orientation, performance evaluations, and corrective action.
• Make recommendations and/or decisions regarding hiring, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, and terminations.
• Monitor service delivery to ensure supports are consistent, engaging, and meaningful to the individuals served.
• Provide on-call support to staff and assist with shift coverage as needed.
