Required Qualifications Required Qualifications for Appointment at the Clinical Assistant Professor rank (less than five years teaching experience): Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university. Credentialed in the profession of Orthotics and/or Prosthetics or hold a professional license in the Orthotics & Prosthetics profession as is required by the state in which he/she is employed. Minimum two years of clinical experience in profession. College level teaching experience. Demonstrated current and contemporary competence in the teaching content area as well as a commitment to service and scholarship. Documented experience in supervision, instruction, evaluation, student guidance in educational theories and techniques. Experience in the effective administration of a university department to include curricular evaluation and design, programmatic fiscal and personnel management, accreditation, and strategic planning. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning (e.g., continuing professional education in the specialty area (s), higher education degrees, research, writing, speaking, training, etc.). Working knowledge of MS Office. Experience implementing an educational program, including developing and growing traditional and online programs in Orthotics and Prosthetics Assistant. Demonstrated student success-focused initiatives. Demonstrated leadership and experience in building alliances and/or partnerships across the college, university, academic, and business communities.
