Our patients are our number one priority! We're committed to giving children back their childhood! This role involves fabricating orthoses or prostheses, creating positive plaster molds, thermoforming plastic, contouring metal work, sewing materials, and assisting practitioners. The technician will also fit patients with shoes or fabricate shoe lifts, track and order materials, and care for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age patients. The role requires interfacing with clinical and lab staff, contributing to the training of residents and students, and performing production assistant duties as needed.
