About The Position

This role involves managing patient scheduling, handling patient paperwork, verifying insurance information, and directing patients and phone calls within the Orthotics and Prosthetics department. The position requires excellent communication and organizational skills to manage a busy environment effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patients in a timely manner and correspond with physician teams if needed
  • Handle patient paperwork and review
  • Check insurance and update demographics
  • Direct patients to the right floor of the building
  • Direct phone calls to O&P
  • Scan in SMX
  • Notate within EMR important phone calls/messages
  • Perform other duties as assigned
