This position will work as part of the Sanctuary House team, collaborating closely with the domestic violence sexual assault program service team, all under the umbrella of survivor services. The program provides services designed to meet needs related to immediate safety, trauma recovery, and on-going support for survivors of human trafficking. This position is responsible for direct oversight of the crisis stabilization shelter, advocacy, and community based programming, including housing services. Trauma Informed Care is an approach to engaging people with histories of trauma that recognizes the presence of trauma symptoms and acknowledges the role that trauma has played in their lives, as well as the effects of working with trauma survivors on the workforce.
