About The Position

The Housing and Supported Services Program at Unity House of Troy, Inc. is seeking a Program Director for our Supported Housing Program for people living with HIV/AIDS. The incumbent should be a highly motivated individual with a wealth of knowledge in the Human Services field and experience working with people with HIV/AIDS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and four years of experience working with multiple populations and co-occurring disorders; extensive experience may substitute for degree.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience required.
• A high degree of professionalism coupled with excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
• You must be able to travel as a requirement for annual conferences, training and grant related meetings.
• Excellent time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently in the field are also required.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Excel/Microsoft office and experience working within EHRs is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple programs serving this specialty population, each with unique funding guidelines, data management, and reporting requirements.
• Directly supervise employees.
• Ensure high-quality service in accordance with agency mission and applicable funding regulations.
• Ensure program procedures are followed and quality management metrics are met.
• Complete program reports/tracking outcomes on a monthly basis.
• Monitor budgets.
• Monitor all program documentation, make sure its completed correctly and on time.
• Meet with funders, participants, supervisors, and upper-level management.
• Promote inclusion and diversity.
