The Program Coordinator assists faculty in their research and creative production and enhances school reputation by assisting in the development, monitoring, and reporting of budgets, procurement processes, student hiring, vendor onboarding, event planning, and educating faculty. This role also secures funding for projects by managing the administration of applications, fulfilling requirements to acquire funds, and drafting reports and other documents as requested by the funding parties. The position enables faculty to understand and comply with policies to ensure operational efficiencies, assists in reporting on funding opportunities, and aids in the preparation of reports and analysis regarding research and gifts to enhance school reputation. The Program Coordinator ensures that all applications are submitted according to the funding party's instructions and that deadlines are met for funding opportunities. They respond to online and other inquiries in a timely manner, serve as host to guests, and coordinate visits. This role monitors budgets in conjunction with the business office and performs other financial responsibilities to support faculty, such as processing reimbursements, creating purchase orders, and reconciling accounts. Additionally, the Program Coordinator assists in the coordination of special events for Research, Global, and the 4C’s Center, and other areas as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
