As Program Coordinator, you will join an exclusive team of leaders responsible for the implementation of the Alzheimer’s Association Portfolio of Community Program Offerings. This portfolio aims to bring awareness, education, and support to communities across the United States and activate a grassroots network of individuals and community leaders working towards a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Utilizing your proven leadership, networking, and relationship-building skills, you will cultivate key community connections, drive success, and expand the reach of our community offerings by strategically identifying and engaging community partners and activating and empowering volunteers, especially in new, underrepresented, and rural communities. As a successful community mobilizer who will manage multiple program delivery volunteers annually, you will generate excitement and enthusiasm for the cause, coach and inspire volunteers to implement proven strategies and best practices that result in increased community presence and serving more people with awareness, education, and support year over year. The Program Coordinator also supports and assists Program staff to ensure Association goals and program performance metrics are met. Duties include administrative support as well as occasional technical support for program volunteers. This position is grant funded.
