The Program Coordinator serves as the primary administrative and operational support resource for the ASU/NASPO partnership within the NASPO Department of Supply Chain Management. Reporting directly to the Department Chair, this position is responsible for coordinating partnership activities, managing communications and records, supporting events and stakeholder engagement, and assisting with departmental initiatives that advance the partnership's goals. In addition to partnership-related responsibilities, the Program Coordinator provides support for departmental events and activities, including planning, logistics, communications, and on-site coordination for conferences, student engagement activities, faculty events, and other special programs. The position plays a key role in ensuring the successful execution of both partnership initiatives and broader departmental programming. This role requires a high degree of initiative, independent judgment, and problem-solving. Assignments may at times be broadly defined, requiring the incumbent to independently assess situations, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose solutions that align with the objectives of NASPO, the Department of Supply Chain Management, and established ASU policies and procedures. The Program Coordinator must effectively navigate relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, students, university administrators, industry partners, and NASPO representatives. The Program Coordinator is expected to operate with considerable independence while designing, implementing, coordinating, and delivering programs and initiatives that support the strategic goals of the ASU-NASPO partnership and the department. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, the ability to manage competing priorities, and the capacity to develop innovative solutions in a collaborative academic environment.
