The Transportation Planning and Management (TPM) division is responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible movement of people and goods on the City's streets, supporting economic and social vitality. The Office of Livable Streets (OLS) within TPM focuses on strategic planning, community engagement, research, policy, design, implementation, and long-term management to create livable streets that support safety, accessibility, inclusion, resiliency, active modes, community cohesion, and economic vitality. OLS aims to enhance New York City's pedestrian, bicycle, and micromobility networks, providing comfortable, connected, green, and reliable transportation options. The Cycling & Micromobility Unit, responsible for the nation's largest network of on-street bicycle facilities, focuses on expanding and improving the bike network through innovative street redesigns to enhance safety, connectivity, and equity. This unit seeks a Program Coordinator to support the launch and implementation of the Secure Bike Program (SBP), which will install 500 secure bike parking facilities over five years to make cycling more accessible and practical for various bicycle types. The Program Coordinator will play a key role in the deployment and operation of SBP facilities citywide.
