The Program Coordinator for the Institute for Financial Literacy and Wellness (IFLW) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) provides specialized support in the planning, coordination, and delivery of university-wide financial literacy and wellness initiatives. This role reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for planning and organizing curricula, materials, and program tools for workshops, seminars, and micro-credential programs serving over 30,000 students. The Coordinator will support partnerships between the Institute and academic units by researching and selecting effective instructional strategies to integrate financial literacy and wellness into the student lifecycle. Key duties include managing the Institute’s daily schedule, mentoring and providing functional supervision to Graduate Assistants and/or student workers, and acting as a central point of contact for internal collaborations. Additionally, the Coordinator will support the Institute’s sustainability through grant research assistance, compliance reporting, and resource stewardship, ensuring all initiatives align with the University’s community outreach, strategic retention, and graduation goals. This position is expected to contribute to UNLV's core mission of increasing enrollment and promoting equitable student success by addressing systemic obstacles and implementing strategic services, programs, and support. Some evening and weekend work, and occasional travel, may be necessary.
