The Department of State Police is seeking an E-Learning Coordinator for the MSP Leadership Institute. This role involves planning, organizing, scheduling, and publishing e-learning content via learning management systems to deliver job-related training to uniformed members of the Massachusetts State Police (MSP), as well as to MSP’s public safety partners, clients, and stakeholders. The incumbent will facilitate meeting training goals and fulfilling programmatic objectives for the MSP Leadership Institute. The E-Learning Coordinator will prepare and disseminate course announcements, manage course enrollment, track course completion, and collect and analyze course-related statistics and data. This includes conducting needs assessments, convening focus and subject matter expert groups, and performing research to develop valid training content. The role also involves integrating instructional design principles with educational software and multimedia tools to create and develop e-learning courses and supplemental educational content. Additionally, the coordinator will prepare formal reports on e-learning activities and outcomes, maintain course documentation, perform learning management system administrator duties, and perform related duties such as attending meetings and conferences, collaborating with inter-agency training partners, and participating on panels, committees, and in user groups. The position may also involve supervising employees of lower level.
