EF Education First is offering a Cooperative Education (co-op) program in partnership with a student’s college or university. This program allows students to align their academic and future career goals with work experience for a select period. EF offers various 4-6 month co-ops starting in January or Summer across its travel, language, and education businesses in sales, customer service, operations, finance, and marketing. The Program Compliance Co-Op (Sales Support), internally known as an Education Credit Coordinator, is a key supporting role within the Extensions Team. This role works closely with the Extensions (sales) Team, focusing on compliance, documentation, and operational processes to ensure au pairs can successfully extend their program year in the United States. A critical part of the extension eligibility process is meeting the Department of State's federally mandated education credit requirement, and this role serves as the operational backbone for that compliance function. The Education Credit Coordinator is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and approving education credit documentation submitted by au pairs from all of our global markets, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and compliant with federal program requirements. By proactively managing compliance timelines and communicating clearly with au pairs, host families, and local coordinators, this role directly enables the sales team to move extension conversations forward without delays caused by outstanding education requirements.
