About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a Program Associate to support adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities in its adult residential program in Plainsboro, New Jersey. The role focuses on providing quality, compassionate care and helping residents develop daily living skills, build independence through personalized care plans, and participate in community events and outings. Team members collaborate with one another and communicate with residents, families, and guardians. The work can be physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding, and weekend availability is required. The posted schedule is Sunday 7 a.m.–11 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday 3 p.m.–11 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work well in teams and openness to learning new skills.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Current driver’s license in good standing.

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
