Program Assistant
About The Position
The Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex (BISC) is the City of Rockingham’s newest leisure facility, committed to providing excellent customer service. BISC accommodates various sports and hosts wellness programs. Primarily based at BISC, this role will assist in the delivery of various programs within the City’s leisure facilities. This includes customer service, maintaining program equipment, setup of programs, cleaning, and assisting in the cafe as required. Hours may be rostered from Monday to Sunday, 5 am to 10 pm. The role may also require working in other City leisure facilities, including Aqua Jetty, Mike Barnett Sports Complex, and Rockingham Aquatic Centre.
Requirements
- Familiarity of leisure facility operations and programs
- An understanding of the rules of programmed sports
- Customer service experience and conflict resolution skills
- Current Provide First Aid qualification
- Current Working with Children check (or ability to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of various programs within the City’s leisure facilities.
- Provide customer service to all patrons.
- Maintain program equipment in a safe working order.
- Setup of programs.
- Cleaning.
- Assist in the cafe as required.
Benefits
- $27.60 per hour, plus superannuation
