About The Position

The Indigenous-led food systems team at IPEC is hiring a dedicated and dependable Program Assistant to help deliver fresh, locally sourced food products to tribally controlled schools, BIE schools, and community partners. This role directly supports food sovereignty, strengthens local agriculture, and builds meaningful relationships with Native communities and producers.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to drive long-distance routes and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of delivery or professional driving experience preferred
• Experience working with tribal communities or schools is highly valued

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver food products across regional and long-distance routes
• Support produce aggregation, inventory management, and warehouse operations
• Work directly with tribal schools, local growers, and community partners
• Help ensure food quality, safety, and timely delivery
• Represent IPEC with professionalism, reliability, and cultural respect
