About The Position

Davis Defense Group, Inc. is seeking a Program Analyst, Journeyman (PMA 213) to support the Department of Defense. This role involves applying analytic techniques to evaluate program/project objectives, analyzing requirements, status, budget, and schedules, and performing management, technical, or business case analyses. The analyst will collect, organize, and interpret data related to aircraft/weapons/project acquisitions and product programs, track program/project status and schedules, and apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control, and data management. The position is hybrid, with an initial expectation to be onsite for 30-60 days for training and acclimation.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • Proficient in MS. Office suite of applications.
  • BA/BS degree or related field or supplemental experience is required.
  • Secret Clearance Level Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Navy Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT) application.
  • 3 or more years’ experience supporting NAVAIR acquisition programs.

Responsibilities

  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapons/project acquisitions and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies government-instituted process for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Analyze program/project financial plans and input data into approved trackers, Navy / PMA web applications.
  • Manage, review, engineering change proposals to assist in project planning / scheduling.
  • Assist in development of project planning, program documentation, and CDRL management in support of program efforts.
  • Provide acquisitions and programmatic support to leadership as required.
