About The Position

Manage academic, administrative, and student services operations of the academic programs for the Department of Mathematics at the Courant Institute School of Mathematics, Computing, and Data Science, including student recruitment, admissions, academic and career counseling for students. Advise students on program requirements, course sequencing and departmental and Tandon policies and procedures. Develop course schedules, orientations and examination dates; assist the Directors of the academic programs with the development and implementation of departmental administrative and academic policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience with planning and administering activities, academic advising, and staff supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to market programs, solve problems and interact with individuals at all levels.
• Working knowledge of various software applications including HTML and web programming.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Administration or a related field
• Master's Degree in Education, Administration or a related field
• Experience with student recruitment, admissions or career placement.
• Ability to use desktop publishing and web design (HTML, Dreamweaver).
• Extensive knowledge of BRIO, Access, Excel and Word.

Benefits

• In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000.00 to USD $80,000.00.
