The Program Administrator 3 (Grants Manager) plays an important part at the Commission. In this role, you will be responsible for serving as liaison between the Director and grantees, community programs, private organizations, state department staff, and the general public. You will also assist in the direction, coordination, and management of grant writing initiatives for the Commission, including working with other state departmental staff and collaborating partners to research and develop grants. Additionally, you will assist with the development of proposed policies pertaining to the Commission's coordination of initiatives regarding operational feasibility and statewide impact. This role involves overseeing grant programs, supervising grant program staff, managing operational matters, and reviewing and analyzing data reports from all grant programs to ensure accuracy of grantee reporting and development of summary reports to the board and stakeholders. You will also host data report review meetings and review and make revisions to the Minority Health Grants Management System and its manuals. The State of Ohio is a drug-free workplace.
