About The Position

The Department of Sociology at Stanford University seeks applicants for a faculty appointment in an open area of sociology at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. Applicants must have demonstrated a commitment to effective teaching and mentoring and the ability to develop and maintain a world-class research program. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in sociology or a related field and will be expected to teach and advise students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
